| This customer wanted a facsimile of his parents' ketubah from Iran for his children to have as a family heirloom. Using a small photocopy of the document, Peggy created this ketubah on parchment. The photocopy appeared to show the first pages of a ketubah that was folded and bound like a book. Peggy painted the colors as she imagined they had been done by the artist, as the photocopy looked discolored either by age or by nature of the copying process. |
